Chocolate Ryeola – made by Sodt Bakery
Small-batch “rye-ola” baked at Sodt with their own rye bread. They toast it gently in the cooling ovens after the bread bake. Slow heat. Big flavour. Super crunchy.
What it is
A rye-forward granola with dark chocolate pieces, tart cranberries and a generous seed mix. Built on UK-grown rye flakes and Sodt’s house rye loaf.
That curious “ymerdrys” bit
Ymerdrys is a classic Nordic topping made from crumbled rye bread lightly sweetened and toasted. Here it’s mixed through the ryeola for extra malty depth and serious crunch. Traditionally it’s sprinkled over cultured dairy – which is why this goes brilliantly with kefir.

Roasty rye, a touch of honey, bright cranberry, nutty seeds, and little pops of chocolate.
