Lou at the FillUp shop in Alton has rustled up a fantastic Christmas cake mix. Layered dried fruit and cake ingredients are presented beautifully in this reusable kilner jar and comes with an easy recipe card.
You will also need 4 eggs, 225g butter, zest of a lemon and orange, brandy (or tea, or apple juice) and 1 desertspoon of black treacle. You will need a 20cm cake tin which will make about 20 servings (appetite dependent!)
