We are currently recruiting for a full time and part time milkman/woman.

At Milk Club, we’re driven by giving our communities a sustainable way to buy great food
products from local suppliers. With short food miles, electric vehicle deliveries, zero single
use plastic and the widest range of return and reuse packaging options we’ve made it easy
to go green.

Our round’s person is the key person in making this happen. Reliable service is the
cornerstone of our business so we are seeking a new addition to our team who will be
comfortable working by themselves in the early hours of the morning.

We’re a small family run business and you’ll be supported by the team around you in
learning the round and assisting you if there are any issues. The role is very calm and
methodical as you’ll have the routine of a set round and the tranquillity of quiet roads when
all but the local wildlife are sleeping.

We have the latest generation of electric milk floats, which are comfortable and easy to work
from. You’ll have modern technology that will guide you through your round, all you need to
do is follow the instructions with accuracy and attention to detail.

Job Details:
● Working 5 nights a week, typically from midnight up until 7am, contractual hours
11pm - 8am. Mon- Fri Week 1 and then Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri, Sat on Week 2 (Weds a
rest day)
● Loading the van with pre-picked stock and unloading empties at the end of the shift.
● Driving 30-50 miles a night and delivering to c.150 customers on a pre-set route.
● Picking up empties from customers for return to the farm.

Challenges:
● You must enjoy working alone and at night and be physically fit to meet the demands
of the role.
● The Great British Weather- you’ll get beautiful sunrises, star filled skies but also wet
and windy weather!

Job Benefits:
● Salary of £28,000 per year, paid monthly
● £1500 bonus per year split into a January and August instalment based on good
attendance and performance.

Part time role is the same as above, with pay and benefits on a pro rata rate. Working days are Tuesday and Friday night.
